Foreign reserves reach $14.4bn with SBP reserves rising

SBP reserves increase by $31 million, bringing total to $9.13 billion

Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves reached $14.41 billion for the week ended on June 14, 2024, according to recent data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The SBP reserves saw an increase of $31 million, bringing total liquid reserves of the SBP to $9.13 billion. Whereas net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5.2 billion.

This rise underscores positive momentum in Pakistan’s foreign reserves position, contributing to stability in the country’s external financial outlook.
